Care Instructions

Polymer Clay is a durable and flexible material, however excessive bending or force may cause them to break. It is important to take care when handing and storing your earrings to avoid bending the backs or cracking the clay. Some embellishments are made from metal which may tarnish over time. You can clean marks on your clay earrings by applying rubbing alcohol or 100% acetone with a cotton tip gently over the mark. Tarnished metal may be brightened by using Brasso or vinegar.

In the unlikely case your earring stud backing falls off, reattach using jewellery or metal glue. My favourite is Locktite super glue. Bent studs or hooks can be gentle shaped back in to place.

About Lisa

Hi! I'm Lisa Joy Sawyer :) Re-order those initials and you get JLS: Joyful Little Sparks. I'm the artisan behind the vibrant, fun and feminine polymer clay earrings you will find on this site. I hope they can spark a little bit of joy for you!

I started making clay earrings on and off in 2020, when I first tried it at a Hens weekend. I bought a few supplies as soon as I got home, right before the pandemic shut the stores. I started casually selling them in 2023 while on maternity leave with my first bubba. Sleepless nights had given me too many earrings! I saw how much joy people got recieving them, so decided to cast my net wider. I'm so glad you found me!

Lisa in a nutshell: I'm a Sydney residing, coffee drinking, bible believing mum to Mr one year old and wife of Josh. He is at bible college and I'm so excited to serve the Lord Jesus as a family. On Fridays I work as a Speech Pathologist. Really I am just an avereage Christian, loved by an extroadinary God.
